All around, trail horse deluxe! Osprey is your guy if you’re wanting a sweet gelding who has done it all. He is as flashy as they come and is willing to do anything you please. Take him down the trail English or Western and know you’ll be safe or put him in the arena to jump and enjoy this guy’s movement. He has seen tarps and flags, trail courses, and anything you could throw at him in town. He is traffic safe, rides with dogs, and will ride out alone or in a group. He doesn’t mind being in the middle or back of a pack or he will lead with confidence down the trail. We have used him on the ranch to push cattle and ridden him around ATVs, trucks and trailers, tractors, you name it. When in the arena, Osprey knows his leads and will walk, trot, and lope circles like a champ. He has beautiful movement and could excel in a dressage or jumping program with ease. Osprey has been shown by a 12-year-old in the jumpers and has some wins under his belt already. He would be a great addition to a lesson program as well with his easy-going demeanor. He is an easy ride and we have used him for kiddos around the ranch too! Osprey loads and unloads like one should, picks up his feet and stands for the farrier and the vet, and is a joy to give a bath or tack up.
